Because we are working directly with the Big Island Resource Conservation and Development who has taken us under their 501c.3 non-profit status, all donations are tax deductable.
But it's not all about the money. We are also looking for donations of pro-bono services and materials. The Hilo Skate Plaza Coalition will need people with a variety of knowledge, skills and abilities at different stages during this projects development and implementation.
With our many upcoming fundraising and public outreach events, the Hilo Skate Plaza Coalition is always looking for people in our community to volunteer. Help is needed mostly with our Public Relations committee (PR) and Fundraising committee. You may sign up at any one of our events or contact us via email, phone or visit us on our facebook page.
We also hold biweekly meetings at the Hawaii Board of Realtors conference room on Wainuenue Avenue. Our meetings are open to the public and we welcome fresh faces and ideas.
